Our Kids' Kingdom Preschool Ministry provides a Christian environment that fosters spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and physical development while preparing children for kindergarten. Our vision is to meet the needs of the three- to five-year-olds in the Bandera community during this important time in their lives.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Kids' Kingdom is a two day a week daycare that runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 in the morning to 2:30 in the afternoon.
DAILY SCHEDULE
During the day, students have time to journal, have story time, outside time, chapel time, a centers rotation of math, reading, drama/play, and science/sensory, have lunch, playground time, rest time, art, and more. The days are fully structured to get them accustomed to what they will encounter in kindergarten.
STUDENT GOALS
The program goals for our students include recignizing and writing their name, counting to 20 in English and 10 in Spanish, writing the alphabet, associating numbers 1-20 with matching sets, listening and paying attention for short periods of time, creating patterns using manipulatives, performing addition and subtraction using manipulatives, having fun while learning, and more.
For students who master the first set of goals, another round of goals includes writing letters without a picture, associating pictures with beginning sounds, learning the days of the week, the months of the year, and beginning a reading program.
