Harvest Ministry is a way for BMC to both feed the hungry and share the good news of Jesus Christ in the community.
This is a fabulous, hands-on ministry that meets people's needs, mentors them, and introduces them to the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.
HILL COUNTRY DAILY BREAD
In cooperation with Hill Country Daily Bread in Boerne, Harvest Ministry distributes food and other items to families in the Bandera Community.
Members of Bandera Methodist Church go to the facility in Boerne on Fridays and pick up the food from Hill Country Daily Bread's large warehouse.
Then they bring it to the church where others sort the items on Saturday mornings. Then, families come to the church to pick everything up. This includes frozen food, produce, canned goods, dry goods, dish soap, bread, and even desserts.
We are always in need of more people to serve this growing need in Bandera County.
