Whatever your age, there are many places within the church to study God's Word and fellowship with other people. We would love for you to get involved somewhere inside of our church!
SUNDAY SMALL GROUPS
Come and See Group - This group meets in 103 at 9:45. It is video based, covering a wide range of biblical topics. Plenty of discussion makes this group very comfortable with no pressure.
Life to the Full Group - This group meets at 9:45 in Room 209. A lot of the people in this group are parents with kids at home.
Harmony Group - This group meets at 9:45 and concludes by 10:30 because many of the people who attend rehearse with the choir at that time. They use their time for a devotional followed by a discussion.
Adelante Group - This group meets at Room 213 at 9:45. This is a Bible Study that goes through the Bible book by book.
MIDWEEK GROUPS
Cutup Group -This group of crafty senior ladies meets periodically to share their handiwork, complete projects for the church community, socialize, and enjoy refreshments. Laughter with one another and most important – “Love” is exchanged.
Wednesday Morning Bible Study - This group meets on Wednesdays at 10:00 in room 103. It uses video/study guide resources from a variety of Christian authors. In addition to the Bible Study the group then goes to lunch to fellowship together!
WOMEN'S GROUP
The Bandera Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to extend concepts of mission through participation in local and global ministries.
The unit meets each 2nd Thursday of September through May at 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. There is a program or speaker or service project each meeting as well as time for fellowship and refreshments.
MEN'S GROUP
The Bandera Methodist men's group meets once a month on the second Monday evening for "Grill and Chill." They fellowship together and eat steaks. What could be better than that.
In addition to this monthly meeting, they also plan special church events and look for people attending the church who are in need of assitance.
